Neat music, a couple of near-legendary performances - and three and a half hours of almost total boredom. I was one of the (un?)lucky few to see it - and still am thrilled by the memory -- and bored by it at the same time. Judy Kuhn's voice is one of the best of the past few decades. The late David Carroll's - as seen in this clip - was clear and strong and exciting --- with his first act closer "Anthemn" perhaps the most spinetingling few minutes I've ever spent in a theater.
