this is one of my all-time favorites and its incredible cus you wouldnt think something from mario could be so relaxing, i listen to it all the time while doing homework! and the video was a recording of the game but the midi does sound QUITE off-key, excellent work on the recording, crappy job with the midi, i rate five cus i love the tune but not the midi itself

I know for a fact that this is in fact the an exact recording of the game music. This was not played on a piano.

This was by far my favorite in Super Mario 64  (Balthazar228 on 04-Jun-2006)
I loved this track in the game. It was ever so slightly better than rainbow ride. I really like it because it is complex and simple in the same medium. It also is relaxing.
