If you do any amount of searching around, there is a lot of discussion about how impossible it is to convert a sound file (wav/mp3) to an instruction set (midi).
Think about a human voice singing a particular note. It's a frequency. Then let's say the voice stops and the note is picked up by a flute. Pretty similar frequency. How can the computer tell the difference? It can't.
Only for very simple music do these programs work reasonably well. For anything complex, forget the idea of getting anything remotely resembling the original. |

| Well, for converters you usually have to pay a price for it. |

Sibelius can do that but it's not for free
It works fine if the track is without human voice

Here's the truth:
No software on the market can truly convert any wav, mp3, or wma to midi. You will only get a weird sounding output.
The best way to convert mp3, wav, or wma is not to use software, but to use music notation software like this one (link hidden for guest post) All you have to do is look for the sheet music for the song you want. My suggestion is to buy it from (link hidden for guest post) They only cost around $5 for sheet music. Then you can enter the notes into noteworthy composer. Then you can save it as a midi file. |

How can Sibelius do that?
I know it can input and output MIDI, but not create them. |

| You can save Sibelius files as Midi, but you have to make them all by scratch. |
