...but I've never written one before.
Long story short. A friend, probably jokingly, asked me to write an aria for them. I accepted. Now I feel obligated to write one...but I don't really know anything about them. I've thrown together a little snippet that sorta sounds like one...but then not really at all. Any pointers, hints, helps, snippets of information, or anything I would deem useful is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
On second thought, I'm not sure who still writes arias now a days...but still...someone might.
