| I enjoy listening to XG midis, but how come I can't get an XG midi's full capabilities when I play them on my XG softsynth? I'm tired of requesting for XG mp3 recordings. Can anyone help? |

You mean the S-YXG50?
Well, it's not the best XG synth, I guess.
But actually it should sound acceptable, especially for a Softsynth...
Have you set the player's output to the right XG synth?
It's the wrench on the left in the XG Player. |

| Yes, I did. I can only get the full XG sounds when I play my midis through Windows Media Player |

Do you have the proper version of the S-YXG50 for your OS?
v3 for Win 95/98
v4 for Win 2k/XP
Vista is not supported.  |
