Need n00b Help from reinstalling Windows (GUITARIX)

Hi,

So I am running Ubuntu 17.01 and have a Line 6 Toneport which is supposed to work fine with Ubuntu.

I have Guitarix/QJACKTL/Audacity/ARDOUR5... I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make a sound with this setup. Windows N00b I guess...

I used REAPER on Windows & it just knew how to record from the Line 6 Pod Farm. This is the only thing I cannot figure out in Linux.

My issue is with Jack. for the most part. I don not which to connect in the patchbay to make a sound. I have googled as much as I can... Please help with some decent tutorials.
