|
|
Some of the sounds i use to make songs, like Distortiion guitar, sound great when in MIDI form. Yet, when I convert it into MP3 it sounds all wrong. Drums as well, sounds strange, and Jazz guitar.
Anyone know why? or if theres something I can do to fix this? |

MIDI sounds different on different computer with different sound card. It may sound the way you want it on your computer but it's most likely will not be the same on any other computer with a different sound card.
Because the MIDI sounds different on our server, the MP3 came out differently. If you want it the sound exactly the way you want it, you must convert the MIDI on your computer. |

You need to purchase commercial software for that purpose. |

I know a freeware that convert MIDI files into MP3 for free, with the same quality as General MIDI. It's MEDIA CODER
But I prefer the soundfont from HAMIENET, it's sounds just so realistic
The distortion guitar just SOO ROCK!! _________________ About knowledge: But how much is too much ? It's up to you to set your own knowledge limit. You can't know everything. The knowledge limit is not how much you want to know nor how much you can know, but how much you need to know... |

You can also just set your recording mixer to "What U Hear" if you have that feature... then just hit record in any recording program and then hit play on the midi. That is, if you can't find a converter. |
