I write poetry on site all over the world.
I would like to learn how to insert html codes
with my poetry for music.
Is there something I can buy that would automatically change regular music to html?
or could someone tell me where I might find music
(classical, popular) that is already in the html format?
Thanking you very much
My pen name is "Lovingcritters"
If you can help me please send

You must have misunderstood what HTML is. Music don't come in HTML format. Also, when you refer to music, do u mean sound, score, or what? |

Thanking you for prompt reply. I know that html is the not what I want to say, but I say that because when I go to a site to copy the music, (such as sigs.com) it comes up as html
such as this:
<html>
<body
background="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/bgs2/bluesand.jpg" bgcolor="navy" text="#FFFFFF"effect="shadow" logo="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/images/dale.gif">
<bgsound
src="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/midis2/tilltherewasu.mid" loop="-1"><center><img src="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/bars2/blue_shells.gif" height="25" width="325"><br><br><table bgcolor="#FBFAF8" border="2"cellspacing="3"cellpadding="3"><tr><td><table bgcolor="#6D86A5" border="2"><tr><td align="center">
<img
src="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/images/beachwalk.jpg" height="350" width="280"></td></tr></table></td></tr></table>
<br><br><img src="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/bars2/blue_shells.gif" height="25" width="325"><br><br><br><a href="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/"><font color="#FFFFFF" size="2" effect="emboss">~Sigs by Dale~</font></a></center></body></html>
I'm really not that computer savvy, but I hope you can get from this demonstration what it is I have to have inorder to post music with my poems.
And thanking you so much

From your code, it seems like you want to know the HTML code for playing music in the background.
<bgsound src="http://www.wtv-zone.com/Dale/midis2/tilltherewasu.mid" loop="-1">

BINGO!!!!The discussion you suggested is exactly what I was looking for. Is there some way I can print it out without getting all the ads etc. I tried Print Preview, but doesn't narrow it down enough?
And thank you so much for answering my question so accurately and promptly.........I am telling everyone I know about your site Admins. You have been very kind, and I really appreciate it.

You can use your mouse to select the area you want to print. Then right click on it, select "Print". Make sure "selection" is selected under "Page Range" on the Print dialogue. |

You are so kind, thank you much for all the info and now I'm all set, except for knowing some place where I can go to get music like this. Music to post.
I don't even know what to look for......would you have an idea where I might find such a place, or like in the discussion you referred me to, is it possible to take it right off my computer. I have lovely classical and popular music stored there. Would be wonderful if I could just use that?
Thanking you so much again

Yes, you can use your own music. You first need a web host to host your file. Once you uploaded it on the Internet, you can play it as background music with the source in HTML pointing to the location of the song. |
