Smile Guitar Tablature
This is smile. Its basically the same as the other tab on here, but it has more of the lead parts. This is more of how they play it live then on the No Code cd... Enjoy.

The verse/main riff is just this:
E A B A

On the second verse there is a fill at the back end of the chord progression:
e-----------------------
B-----------------------
G-----------------------
D-----------------------
A--7-5------------------
E------7-----7--5--3b--0

This is the main part of the chorus:
e---------------------------------------
B---------------------------------------
G--/12--12-11-9--7h9p7--7h9-9-9-11-11/12
D---------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------

This is the solo:
e-------------------------------------------------------
B-------------------------------------------------------
G-------------------------------------------------------
D--------12--14----------12--14--------12--14---------12
A--12h14---14--14--12h14---14----12h14---14--14--12h14--
E-------------------------------------------------------

e-------------------------------------------------------
B-------------------------------------------------------
G-------------------------------------------------------
D--------12--14----------12--14--------12--14---------12
A--12h14---14--14--12h14---14----12h14---14--14--12h14--
E-------------------------------------------------------

e-----------------------------------------------------
B--17-15----------17-15------------17-15--------------
G-----------------------------------------------------
D-------------12-------------12-----------------12----
A--------12h14----------12h14--------------12h14------
E-----------------------------------------------------

The last chord on the last chorus is a D, you hammer up to the third fret with your pinky every once in a while.

Thats all the parts. Just work it out and piece it together. This is a great song, as all Pearl Jam songs are, and its fun and not too difficult. If you have any questions or comments, email me at mansonstinks2@aol.com
