Once upon a time in Mexico - Intro
Tabber: Sephythrox
----------------------------------
if your anything like me, when you saw antonio banderas playing that mexican solo
you wanted to grab his guitar beat him over the head with it and steal his mad
mexican solo'ing skills, but thats just me.its not that hard what hes doing,
it just simply sounds cool, so seeing as i didnt find a transcription of this,
i decided to put myself to work and help those other ppl in the world who
wanted to hit antonio with his own guitar.

E-A-D-G-B-e

its a good sounding steel string acoustic so you may not be able to replicate
that good metal acoustic sound he gets but just finger pick what ive indicated
and you'll be on your way

where i put the stars is where you strum all of them slower and get a nice
good mexicano sound out of it

            *          *                   *         *
|e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
|B|---------5----------5---------5-------------------6---------6---/8--6-6-5-3h5-5--|
|G|---6---6-6----6---6-6--6---6--6-7-6-7~-----7---7--7----7--7-7--------------------|
|D|-7---7---7--7---7---7-7---7---7----------7---7----7--7--7---7--------------------|
|A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
|E|---------------------------------------------------------------------------------|

|e|---------3---------3---5-3-3-1-0-1-1-------------------------|
|B|---5--5--5----5--5-5-----------------------------------------|
|G|-5--5----5--5--5---5-----------------------------------------|
|D|-------------------------------------------------------------|
|A|-------------------------------------------------------------|
|E|-------------------------------------------------------------|

and then he does a run on what im guessing is your generic "mexican scale"
so ill just show you what i believe it is, it sounds good even if it isnt right
|e|-------------------------------------------------------------|
|B|-5h8-10p8-6-8p6-5-6p5---5------------------------------------------------|
|G|----------------------7---7-6-7-6---6------------------------------------|
|D|----------------------------------8---8-7-8-7-5--7-5----5-------------2--|
|A|-----------------------------------------------------8----8-7-8-7-5------|
|E|-------------------------------------------------------------------------|

|e|-----------------------|
|B|--5p3--3-----1-1-------|
|G|------6--6p3-2-2-------|
|D|-------------2-2-------|
|A|-------------0-0-------|
|E|-----------------------|
then the orchestra comes in, and hes just soloing to it, using some kind of minor scale in A,
if you use the mexican scale i have below it works pretty well....
hes doing nice lil fill-ins in am so you can do whatever you want playing it

the cool metallic sounding fill in he does right before he enters building
|e|---------------------------|
|B|-----------------1-1-------|
|G|-----------------2-2-------|
|D|--0h2p0---0------2-2-------|
|A|--------4---4p1--0-0-------|
|E|---------------------------|

the ending... once again, fast run on what appears to be a mexican scale,
though he ends it in a minor chord... im not sure the theory behind it but it works for some reason..
|e|---------------------------------------------------------------|
|B|-5-6-8-6-5-6-5-----------------------------------------------1-|
|G|---------------7-9-7-6-7---6---------------------------------2-|
|D|-------------------------8---8-7-8-7-5-7-5-5-----------------2-|
|A|------------------------------------------8-7-8-5--7----7-7--0-|
|E|---------------------------------------------------------------|

ill give you the scale too... you can make up your own solo things or use that...
but unless your playing along to the movie no one is going to
notice any mistake in there...
