ADDAT by JAL

Tabbed by Ali Raza

Hey, this is a great song by a new soon to be famous band Jal, it's also very easy
and can be used to impress you're friends :) hehe so here goes....

This song works o.k with your standard tuning but its been recorded with their guitars
tuned half step down.
O.k, Hold the Dm chord (xx0231) and play this intro (arpegios) you'll notice
that when the open e string is played the chord you are now holding is a
Dsus2 (xx0230):

e|---------0------0------0------0-------1------1------1------1----
b|-----3-----3------3------3------3-------3------3------3------3--
g|---2---2-----2------2------2------2-------2------2------2------2
d|-0--------------------------------------------------------------
a|----------------------------------------------------------------
e|----------------------------------------------------------------

Play this as many times as needed. While the intro is being played
the first verse comes in:

---------------------------------
Najane Kab se......
Umeedain kuch baqee hainnnn......
Mujhe phir bhi teri yaaaaad
Kyoooooooon Aatee haiiii.........
Najane kab se....................
---------------------------------

Then everything goes silent and these chords come in:

Dsus2 (xx0230) 2 times i think
Dm (xx0231) 3 times i think

Played twice

THen strum around this chord a few times:

B Flat (x13331)

(Evil tip for newbies, if u find changing from the D's to the BFlat a bit difficult
hold this un-named chord (xx3331) u'll find it easier and it'll still sound ok but under
no circumstances is the open A to be played warna saara maza kharab ho jaata hai
others should stick to the B flat)

THen all the verses come in, the chords used are

Dm (xx0231)
C (x32010)
B Flat (x13331)
C (x32010) (played again in every verse)

These chords are used throughout the song till the very end in each and every
line even when he starts yellin "Hay hay hayyyyy hooooo HOOOOOO oohwhoa"
I've only shown how they're used in the first verse (the C is played again at the end
of every line):

    Dm C Bflat C
Duur jitna bhi tum jujh se, paas tere mein

Ab toh addat see hai mujhe koo aise jeene meinnn

Zindagee sai koi shikwa bhi nahin hai

Ab toh zinda hoon mein zamein mein aasman mein

Then the little thingy played is simply arpegios on the above chords

Chahat aisee hai ye teree barhtee jai

Aahat aisee hai tereeee mujh ko satayee

yaadein gehree hain teri dil dob jao

Aur aankhon mein ye gham dum ban jai

Hay hay ehhhhh oooooh HOOOOOOOOOO

Then comes in the little solo:

e|-5-6-5-5-5--------------------------------
b|-----------8-6-5-5-5-6-5-3-6-6h8p6-5------
g|------------------------------------------
d|------------------------------------------
a|------------------------------------------
e|------------------------------------------

e|-5-6-5-5--8-10-8-8/12-10-8-8-8/6-6/8-6-5-3
b|------------------------------------------
g|------------------------------------------
d|------------------------------------------
a|------------------------------------------
e|------------------------------------------

something like that with a lil more smooth slides in the middle

Ab toh addat see hai mujh ko aise jeene mein

Hay Hay hAyyyyyyyyy Ohhhhhhhhh

AaaaAaaaAhhhhh Hooooooooo!

(on these verses "Sabhi batein hain and Bula do unhein" the chords are played in this series
Dm B Flat and then C, one C is not played as played earlier after
these 2 verses the chord progression is the same again i.e Dm C Bflat C)

Sabhi batein hain

Sabhi batein hainnnnnN!

Bhula do unhein

Bhula do unHein!!!!

Aaaaaaaaa

Aaaaaaa

WhooooooOAOoooooO!!

Then there are some arpegios on the same chords again which i aint got the time to write.

ab toh addat see hai mujh koo....
