DYNAMITE WALLS
HAYDEN

This is an amazing song. It came on my new computer, so this is all I've ever heard by
Hayden. I am a huge Radiohead fan, this reminds me of them abit. I am in a radiohead style
band, and I was thinking that we should cover this song. But, there was only one tab, on
like, 30 different websites. So, I took that tab nd used it as a guideline to figure this tab out.
Hopefully someone will come along and use my tab as a guideline to figure out more, because there's
alot of stuff I missed. I tabbed this out to be played with two guitars. And I guess this song is
down a whole step, the other guy said that it was "Hayden tuning." So, I continued to figure this
song out while I was tuned down a whole step. untitled2112@yahoo.com

Intro:

I think this is actually a guitar, or a baritone guitar, but if you
play it on bass with the treble up, I would assume it would sound similer.

F|-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-|
C|-------------------|
G|-------------------| It may be down the octave.
D|-------------------|

Theres something not right in this part
d|--------------------------|
A|--0--0--0------0--0---0---|
F|--3--4--6------4--3------|
C|--2--2--4------4--4--4---|
G|----------------------2---|
D|--------------------------|

This is that second guitar part
d|---------|-------2-|-----4-4/6-6-|
A|-2-2-4-4-|-2-2-4---|-4-4---------|
F|---------|---------|-------------|
C|---------|---------|-------------|
G|---------|---------|-------------|
D|---------|---------|-------------|
   ^main^ ^0:58^ ^About 1:10^

THE VERSE:
The verse, there is ctually alot going on here, most likely color guitar,
and maybe a quiet organ. I'm still designing this to be
played with 2 guitars though.

GUITAR ONE
Yeah, so like, the guitar does the D5, then the higher D drops to the major 7th (Db),
it's easy to hear that, then it drops again, but I don't know what it goes to, I
think its to an A, so I tabbed it like this. It sounds OK, but it's not right...
At least I don't think it is. Also, the timing isn't there.
d|-----|------------|-----|
A|-----|------------|-----|
F|-----|------------|-----|
C|-9-9-|-8--8--8--8-|-----|
G|-9-9-|-9--9--9--9-|-9-9-|
D|-7-7-|-7--7--7--7-|-7-7-|
This^ then this^ and ^this. Repeat each bar until... it's time for the next one.
If you can't hear when that, you chould not be playing songs this difficult, until
you have developed your ear.

GUITAR TWO
This guitar is kind of hard to hear, but I would guess it's playing something like
this:
d|---------|-------2-|
A|-2-2-4-4-|-2-2-4---|
F|---------|---------|
C|---------|---------|
G|---------|---------|
D|---------|---------|
Yeah, thats the part from the into. I'm sure that there is a pattern to when to play each bar,
but I don't know what it is.

CHORUS
Yeah, the only real tricky part here is the timing,
well, not really, you just have to remember to listen.

d|-0--2--2--0--2--2--2--0--2--(2)|
A|-0--2--4--0--2--4--4--0--2--(4)|
F|-1--3--4--1--3--4--4--1--3--(4)|
C|-2--4--4--2--4--4--4--2--4--(4)|
G|-2--4--2--2--4--2--2--2--4--(2)|
D|-0--2--2--0--2--2--2--0--2--(2)|
When the B hold out^ the bass moves up, but, the guitar stays on the same chord,
That tricked me for a while.

From here it goes to the intro and stuff and verse and chorus, or something. I believe
that something like the following is in there:

The rhythm isn't there.
d|---------------------|
A|---------------------|
F|---------------------|
C|-9--9--11-11-9-11-9--|
G|-9--9--9--9--9-9--9--|
D|-7--7--7--7--7-7--7--|
You can hear ^that after (one of, or all of) the verses I think. It's SOMEWHERE in the song. lol.

THEN
It starts doing the cool parts. I only tabbed out the major rhythm part, the rest should
be improvised. Load up the lead with effects, maybe use an E-Bow and some delay.

d|------|-------------|------|
A|------|-------------|------|
F|-11-11|-10-10-10-10-|-8--8-|
C|-x--x-|-x--x--x--x--|-9--9-|
G|-9--9-|-9--9--9--9--|-9--9-|
D|-7--7-|-7--7--7--7--|-7--7-|
The x's could be replaced with a 9 if you feel up to it.
